Every Which Way

Every Which Way

We all keep growing older
It’s something we can’t change
The mirror far too honest as
Our features rearrange

I still remember eighy six
When you were seventeen
You had the prettiest eyes I think
A man has ever seen

The years rolled by on you and I
And we’re still here today
And I still want to spend my time
Lovin’ you every which way

The journey hasn’t been too smooth
I guess we married young
But we did really well to raise
A daughter and a son

Now the Autumn leaves of life are blowing
Slowly to the ground
Our teenage kids both working at
Careers that they have found

The years rolled by on you and I
And we’re still here today
And I still want to spend my time
Lovin’ you every which way

So who knows what the future holds
Or what fate has in store
So long as we are side by side
We’ll be okay I’m sure

I had no thoughts of Winter
As a young boy in the Spring
But hindsight gives perspective to
Just almost anything

The years rolled by on you and I
And we’re still here today
And I still want to spend my time
Lovin’ you every which way
